If replacement of the oil storage tank necessitates any carpentry or masonry work, cutting, welding or other extraordinary work, such work is not included in our service policies and the responsibility of such work is the homeowners.

NOTE: Under the terms of our service contract policies, we are not liable for the inability to supply parts that are no longer available due to obsolescence nor do they cover the replacement of the complete oil burner.
Among parts not covered are the boiler block and jacket, furnace heat exchanger, water heater/ storage tank, tankless heater, tankless heater gasket, a combustion chamber, oil burner housing, water and steam system pipe fittings, insulation or radiation, Amtrol Hot Water Makers boilermates and aqua-boosters, oil corroded or rotted units, replacement parts or their substitutes which are no longer available by the manufacturers. Repairs on excluded items will be billed at our prevailing rate of $85.00 per hour for labor (plus parts). Frozen outside lines and oil tanks are not covered.

All provisions of our maintenance service policy are in force. This brochure merely identifies FREE parts and labor covered under our contract service policies. Service contracts are not in force if account is thirty (30) days overdue.

Our service contracts are offered exclusively to customers purchasing their total annual fuel oil requirements on an automatic delivery basis from SmithCo Oil Service, Inc. Cancellation of fuel oil deliveries or failure to maintain satisfactory credit status will terminate this agreement without refund. This contract is nontransferable and nonrefundable.

SmithCo Oil Service, Inc. reserves the right to decline this service contract after inspection due to the condition of the heating system. Charges for labor and/ or materials arising from services performed before acceptance of this contract cannot be credited. Service to equipment performed by another company (except when instructed by us), will relieve SmithCo Oil Service Inc. of all responsibility under this contract. After hours emergency service is considered NO HEAT, WATER LEAK, OIL LEAK, OR SMOKE. Upon our arrival, if call is not an emergency, customer will be billed accordingly at our current labor rates. If you do not call us to cancell an appointment and we are locked out , whether it is a service call or an actual tune-up appointment, there will be a 1 hour labor charge of $85.00.
